Ed Williams
Ed Williams Jr. was born in Detroit Michigan to humble beginnings. Ed Williams was solely raised by his mother being that his father was estranged and battling with drug addictions. Ed was the middle child of three and by far the adventurous one. Due to the circumstances of being raised in the impoverished city of Detroit MI, Ed found himself having to grow up fast. Ed found started adapting to the environment by joining the neighborhood gangs and being involved with illegal activities to make ends meet. Because of several run ins with the law Ed was challenged to change his life by his uncle his late uncle former WBC Champion Duane Thomas. Ed started training and boxing at the age of 16 at the historic Kronk Gym. Boxing saved Ed’s life and created the trajectory for him to become a professional boxer (12-1-2) fight on national television ( HBO PPV, Showtime) and win a title.
In 2010 he received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Eastern University. In 2021 Ed went on to earn his Masters In Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Since then Ed Williams has become a Management Consulting in business working for firms like Deloitte Consulting and an successful entrepreneur!
Now Ed Williams is focused on giving back through keynoting speaking engagements. Ed connects by utilizing his experiences and platform to support underprivileged youth in communities all around the world.
